When is the perfect time to come and why

When one thinks of Middle East, thoughts of sand and an eternity of scorching desert heat follows. Or at least until proven wrong when we came and lived in one of the Emirates of UAE - the buzzing city of Dubai.

The country has two seasons, summer and winter. Summer is quite tough with sand storms and high levels of humidity, searing heat all throughout the day. But it's pure bliss during winter, its most welcomed cool and breezy season. No wonder travel magazines enlists Dubai a must-go-to place during autumn and winter months.

Whether traveling solo or with family and friends, count on Dubai to provide the relaxing places to stay and to give you a wonderful time. You will have accommodation choices ranging from luxuriously pricey to ones which are simple yet with superb amenities. Among the expensive places to stay is The Palm Jumeirah, where one can bask under the Dubai sun in their hotel's private 100 plus meter beach. Though staying here costs a bit more than others, you will feel highly favored with their complementary services.

Moving on to the center of the city, hotels along Downtown Dubai are still costly but more economic if you intend to visit their extravagant malls because within the vicinity is the city's metro railway which could take you from one mall to the other. Avid buyers satisfy their shopping appetites in the world famous Dubai Mall with its beautifully melodious dancing fountain, the elegant Mall of the Emirates, and the world's largest themed mall - The Ibn Battuta Mall. From Downtown, a train ride will also make it easier to visit the historical part of the city, Bur Dubai, where you can enjoy a boat ride locally known as abra, enjoy the smell of spices from around the globe at Spice Souq, and immerse yourself in a variety of golden jewelry at the Gold Souq.

Then there's always the option to stay at the world renowned Burj Khalifa Armani Hotel and Burj Al Arab, if you are game to spend lavishly on your accommodation. However, for modern travelers and most of the younger generation, there's the practical and convenient AirBnB and the smartly affordable Rove Hotels found in the city's prominent locations.

And as much as the city is explored by land, it is as exciting and fulfilling to enjoy it by its waters. Dubai is endowed with seas, a creek and marinas, a great idea to rent a boat especially during the winter season. Tour around The Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab where you can dip in the latter's pristine waters, or head over to the Dubai Water Canal to rave a party or simply be engulfed by Dubai skyline beauty while divulging on some mouth-watering authentic cuisine. So while you are in the city, or planning your Dubai itinerary, we highly recommend a yacht trip. It will definitely make your vacation more fun and memorable.
